Jollies

When the summer arrives there is usually a lull in the number of awards and conferences held due to it being a traditional time of holiday madness... and that is exactly why the past few weeks at Comtec have been filled with staff heading on their jollies.

Last year I had a 3 month jaunt around Europe & Russia for my summer. This year... a weekend in the Lake District. It’s not quite comparable but I am definitely looking forward to spending the weekend with friends, especially since we have already planned a relaxing day in our hotel pool!

Other notable Comtec holidays include a week at home, a weekend trip to a 24-hour Mountain Biking competition, one family holiday to Robin Hood’s Bay as well as certain Comtec-ers purchasing new tents and even a caravan! Of course some Comtec-ers are heading to sunnier climes and bucking the ‘stay-cation’ trend with trips to Turkey, Cyprus and Malaysia either having occurred or being in the pipe line.
